8th April, 2021: Mock Drill on Disaster Management

The Disaster Management Cell, Kohima College in collaboration with IQAC, KCK organised a Mock Drill on Disaster Management on 8th April 2021 at Kohima College Kohima. The objective of the Mock Drill was to provide basic safety measures & knowledge in rescuing injured friends to the Safe Zone, if Earth Quake ever occurred during college working hours. The need was felt to educate students as well teachers, through authorized & trained professional bodies such as DDMA & Home Guards & Civil Defence/SDRF. As such, the professionals provided both theoretical as well as practical demonstrations to the participants. Basing on Earth-Quake Disasters, the following drills were displayed:

  1. Different personal safety equipment & professional approach were displayed.
  2. Basic First Aid Methods.
  3. How to use the service of Ambulance.
