1st March, 2024: Kohima College celebrated its 55th Cultural cum Literary Day 2024. The special guest for the event was Megovono Üsou, HoD, Department of English, Kohima College, who centred her speech on “Cultural Preservation”. The programme witnessed several folk dance & song performances by the students, cowboy flute recital, ethnic show etc. 2 student participants from every academic departments also debated for & against the motion on “Westernisation is a threat to Indigenous Cultures”.

14th Dec, 2023: 3rd semester and 5th semester Students of Political Science participated in Winter School cum Annual Highland Institute Gathering Program. 7 students from Kohima College have been awarded Students’ Scholarship to attend this workshop. This scholarship covers free registration, 2 books from Highlander Press, Workshop Meals and Refreshments from 14th to 19th December 2023.
