Jan 29-31, 2023: National Seminar on Intercultural Thinking: A Way Forward for Diverse Living organised by St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Jakhama & Kohima College, Kohima and sponsored by Indian Council of Philosophical Research (ICPR), New Delhi & Indian Council of Social Science Research – North Eastern Regional Centre (ICSSR-NERC), Shillong.
The keynote speaker for the inaugural session held on the 30th of January, was Prof. Anthony Savari Raj, Professor and Head Department of Philosophy, Manipal University, Jaipur, and former Indian Council of Cultural Relation (ICCR) Chair of Indian Studies, (Under Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India), University of the West Indies, Jamaica. At the valedictory session, Dr. Medongoi Rhakho, Deputy Director (Academics), Higher Education Government of Nagaland graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour.
The two-day seminar consisted of 5 (five) technical sessions with presentation of 20 (twenty) papers by various scholars followed by Q&A/discussions after each of the sessions.
