Kohima College, Kohima, celebrated its 57th Foundation Day with special guest Shri. Vikietuo Belho, G.B. of Mission Compound. Chaired by Lily Angami, HoD, Economics, the programme began with a welcome address by Dr. Vitsosie Vüprü, Principal, KCK. Ms. Neivolieü (Atsü-ü), the granddaughter of the late Vilalhoulie Belho, a founding member of KCK, shared a moving narrative about the passion & conviction of the college’s founding fathers.
The highlight of the day was the award ceremony presented by Dr. Ketoukhrieü, Asst Prof & Coordinator, IQAC. The awards included:
1. Dept. Toppers of 2nd, 4th & 6th sem exams received academic excellence badges
2. Scholar Badge Award 2024: Mr.Nguzokhotuo Mepfhou, a 6th Sem., Dept. of Pol. Science. A certificate of commendation & Rs. 5,000, sponsored by IQAC, KCK
3. Dr. Satuo Sekhose Star Pupil Award 2024: Kikhosou Rume, 6th Sem, Dept of Pol. Science . Certificate of commendation & Rs. 30,000, sponsored by the family of the late Dr. Satuo Sekhose( founder, KCK)
