Functional English Dept. organised a Seminar on “Speech Disorder & Speech Therapy” with Dr. Henwasin Sweety Lorin, Sr. Audiologist & Speech Language Pathologist, Naga Hospital Kohima as the Resource Person. Dr. Lorin’s expertise on the subject was enriching & insightful. She highlighted on Speech Disorders, its types, causes & how early intervention is crucial in speech therapy. Her talk was followed by an interactive Q&A session.
A total of 80 students including 9 faculties attended the program. Temsujungla of 3rd Semester chaired the program. Dr. Ziuziu Iheilung gave the welcome address. Megolhukhono & Wetshelhi presented a song & the vote of thanks was proposed by Samlam of BA 3rd Semester.
