For the first time, Kohima College Kohima came together to honour the incredible dedication of all non-teaching, and support staff. The Staff Appreciation Day, jointly organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Students Welfare Committee (SWC), and Kohima College Students’ Council
The atmosphere in the Conference Hall was filled with warmth and respect as we acknowledged the tireless efforts of those who make KCK a nurturing home of learning.
The programme was chaired by Sungjeminla, Associate Professor & Convenor of the Students Welfare Committee.
The core of the appreciation was voiced by our leadership. Dr. Vitsosie Vupru, Principal of KCK, shared sincere and inspiring words, acknowledging the unwavering commitment of every staff member.
This was followed by Dr. Kekhrieseno Christina, HoD of Sociology & IQAC Member, who added her heartfelt praise, highlighting the collective spirit that forms the backbone of our college.
The atmosphere was lifted by a special song presented by Bowe Elah, CR, dept of education and Heartfelt Official Thank note was shared by : Kekhrievor Dzüvichü, CR, Dept of political science
Adding to the meaningful gestures of the day, Dr. Ketoukhrie-ü, Coordinator of the IQAC, led a special token of appreciation to all staff members.
A particularly moving moment was the speech delivered by Vikho Victor Dukru, LDA, on behalf of the ministerial staff. His words brought to light the essential, often unseen, work that keeps the institution running smoothly, reminding everyone that every role is vital to the KCK family.
The programme was brought to a peaceful and reflective close with a prayer offered by Dr. Limayangla, Assistant Professor & Member of the IQAC. Her benediction sought continued unity, strength, and blessings for the entire college community.
Together, these segments created a memorable and moving ceremony, reinforcing the bonds of respect and camaraderie that make Kohima College a truly special place.
