The Department of Sociology, Kohima college Kohima , organised an educational tour for the 6th semester students to the Kachari Rajbari Ruins, Dimapur.

A total of 47 students participated in the tour, which aimed to provide practical exposure to historical heritage and enhance understanding of socio-cultural aspects of ancient societies.

The Kachari Rajbari Ruins, known for their unique mushroom-shaped monolithic pillars, reflect the architectural and cultural legacy of the Dimasa Kachari Kingdom. During the visit, students observed the site closely and engaged in discussions about its historical significance
