The faculty of the Department of English undertook a study tour of the historic Khezhakeno village.They visited sites within the village known to have significance in the oral tradition, history & folklore of the Nagas such as Zhi Nhaka, the house of the ancient chief/priest or Mowu, the sacred Spirit stone – Tsotawo. They also surveyed the weaving practices & production of the village before visiting the botanical garden & research site of renowned medicine man & botanist Ngulo to learn about local medicinal plants. They ended their tour with a visit to Chida Lake.
