Aug 5, 2026: The Department of Functional English, Kohima College, Kohima organised a program on Speech Disorder and Speech Therapy with Mrs. H. Sweety Lorin Kin, Sr. Audiologist & Speech Language Pathologist at DEIC, NHAK as the Resource Person.

Mrs. Sweety Lorin’s talk on Speech & Language Disorder and Speech Therapy was comprehensive, educational and insightful. Her expertise on the subject was exceptional, whereby she highlighted about the different types of speech disorders in children and adults, talked about the causes and how early intervention is crucial in speech therapy. The resource person’s talk was followed by an interactive Q&A session. It was a productive discourse. A total of 81 students and faculty members attended the program.
