Oct. 6, 2026: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between E-Circle and the Friends of Nature (FoN), Kohima College, Kohima, to establish a collaborative framework for the effective management of solid waste, plastic waste, and electronic waste (e-waste) generated within the institute premises.
The MoU aims to promote responsible waste management practices, environmental awareness, sustainability, and compliance with relevant environmental regulations among the college community. Through this collaboration, the parties will work together to encourage sustainable practices and contribute towards creating a cleaner and environmentally responsible campus.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Bendangwala Walling, one of the founders of E-Circle, in the presence of the Principal of Kohima College and members of FoN. The initiative marks an important step towards strengthening institutional efforts for sustainable waste management and environmental conservation.
