20 NSS volunteers participated in the celebration of “2^nd National Naturopathy Day” organised by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, at Chedema village, to commemorate the 150^th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

25 NSS volunteers participated in the “Run for Unity” in observation of National Unity Day, organised by the Department of Youth Resources & Sports, Government of Nagaland.

Regular activity (campus cleaning) was conducted.

5^th October, 2019: Selection Process for Republic Day Parade

2 NSS volunteers participated in the selection process for Republic Day Parade at Patkai Christian College, Dimapur.

2^nd October, 2019: Awareness Rally themed “Run for a Plastic Free Nagaland” organised by Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India in commemoration of the 150^th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

10 NSS volunteers participated in the Awareness Rally “Run for a Plastic Free Nagaland” from PHQ Junction to Local Ground, Kohima. The program was organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, to commemorate the 150^th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

24^th September, 2019: NSS Day

“NSS Day” was observed in the form of Social Work wherein the volunteers cleaned all the college classrooms & the surrounding campus area. A total of 49 volunteers & 2 NSS Program Officers participated in the Social work.

26^th August, 2019: Orientation Programme for NSS Volunteers

Orientation Program was conducted for NSS volunteers with the State Nodal Officer (SNO) as the Resource Person. A total of 99 student volunteers attended the programme.

5^th June 2019: Cleaning of College Campus on World Environment Day

“World Environment Day” was observed with a brief discussion on the theme “Air Pollution” followed by cleaning of the college campus by NSS volunteers from Kohima College.

2^nd -4^th May, 2019: Volunteer Service for the Inter-Collegiate Olympic Competition

The NSS volunteers provided their service during the preparation of the Inter Government College Olympic, organised by the Department of Higher Education in collaboration with Kohima College, Kohima.

15^th March, 2019: #trashtag challenge

NSS Volunteers, Kohima College, participated in the social media campaign on #trashtag challenge. The challenge was an effort to clean up trash & litter in public places.
