NHAK Organizes Successful Oral Cancer Screening Session at Kohima College. In a concerted effort to promote oral health awareness, doctors from the Dental Department of Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK) led by HoD Dr I Simon Sumi organized a session on oral cancer screening at Kohima College. A total of 104 students, accompanied by 6 doctors and 1 nurse from NHAK, participated in the enlightening event. Dr. Neiphrezo Soriinuo spearheaded the session with an insightful presentation on oral cancer, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the functions of the mouth and a compelling case study presentation. Dr. Keduovinuo Keditsu complemented the discussion by shedding light on the adverse effects of smokeless tobacco in her presentation, emphasizing the importance of tobacco cessation for oral health.
