Dr. Ketoukhrie-ü, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science and IQAC coordinator, Kohima College Kohima Nagaland presented a research paper titled Centering Welfare in the Peripheries : Interrogating the State’s Welfarist Approach in Indo-Myanmar Borderlands at the AAS IN ASIA Conference 2024 organised by Association for Asian Studies and Universitas Madja Gada, Yogyakarta, Indonesia from 9 to 11 July 2024 .
This conference was attended by more than 1400 scholars from more than 40 countries. She has attended this conference as a part of the project Cultivating the Humanities and Social Sciences and Supporting Under-represented Scholars of Asia” funded and implemented by Association for Asian Studies, Swedish International Development Agency and Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, India.
