A Nature Camp was organised by Nagaland Pollution Control Board with Department of EVS, Kohima College, Kohima at Gwizan Resource Centre, Seikhrigei, Khonoma on 28th -30th January’ 2025 as part of the Environment Edn. Programme (EEP).A total of 42 students & 2 teachers participated in the camp. The campers visited Sheep farm, Poilwa Village, Dzüleke and Khonoma Village & a nature trek to Dzübo, Khonoma where the students got an opportunity to learn more about the different species of flora & fauna. A short nature documentary movie was also shown to the campers to instill in them the intricacies of environment . The purpose of this camp was to educate the students about the importance of protection of our biodiversity by delving into the interconnectedness amongst various components of nature.
