The Multi-Sector Job Fair was held with great success on July 25 at the Kohima College Campus, situated on Billy Graham Road. The event attracted a substantial number of job seekers, students, and recent graduates from various regions.

The fair commenced at 10:00 AM and continued throughout the day, fostering a dynamic environment that presented opportunities and encouraged engagement.

Organised in collaboration with The Art of Living Human Resources, Bangalore, and supported by Resilient Generation, the job fair incorporated walk-in interviews, enabling participants to directly engage with recruiters and submit their resumes on the premises.

A diverse range of industries participated in the fair, encompassing sectors such as Education, Hospitality, Information Technology and Marketing, Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), Media and Communications, Industrial sectors, and others.

Kohima College, as the venue partner, provided invaluable support and coordination to ensure the event’s success. Student volunteers from Kohima College, Sazolie College, Kohima, and Tetso College, Dimapur played a pivotal role in managing logistical arrangements and enthusiastically supported the recruitment process throughout the day.

“We understand the frustration of feeling excluded from decisions that shape our futures,” said a spokesperson from Resilient Generation. “That is why we are undertaking this initiative—to create an environment where young individuals can lead, grow, and take responsibility for change. This is not about providing handouts; rather, it is about offering genuine opportunities and recognising that resilience and transformation commence when young people are afforded a genuine chance.”

The impact of the fair was evident, with over 50% of attendees receiving job offers on the spot. Many others progressed to the subsequent stages of the hiring process.

The event was widely acclaimed for its inclusive and multi-sectoral approach, as well as its role in addressing local employment needs in a meaningful and practical manner.
