The prize distribution ceremony for the Startup Innovation Challenge Competition 2025 was held on 8 December 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bamboo Pavilion, Kisama. The event was organised under StartUp Nagaland in collaboration with the Educentre School of Business.
The ceremony was hosted by Incale Iswarang, EDC Coordinator. A brief overview of the EDC was delivered by Lezo Putsure, Founder of ESB, following which the prizes were announced.
Sole Buddy, a student team from Kohima College, was declared the winner of the Startup Innovation Challenge Competition 2025 and received a cash prize of ₹25,000. The team had been trained through an Entrepreneurship Development Certificate Course organised by the Skill Development Committee of Kohima College. They were accompanied by faculty members of the committee, Dr. Petevino Chase and Dr. Konei Nakhro, who supported and guided the team throughout the process.
The first runner-up position was awarded to Skills Lancing from St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Jakhama, and the second runner-up went to Solution Centre from C-Edge College.
The ceremony concluded with a special address by Shri P. Tokugha Sema, Director, DIC, Government of Nagaland, who acknowledged the participants’ efforts and encouraged continued engagement in entrepreneurial initiatives.
