June 18, 2026: NSS, Kohima College unit, signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Mitelephe Village, Kohima District, for the adoption of the village as part of its community outreach and village adoption initiative for a period of one year.
The agreement aims to involve NSS volunteers in meaningful community service activities in the village and also provide NSS volunteers practical exposure to rural life and develop a sense of social responsibility. The chairman of Mitelephe village and four NSS Program Officers from Kohima College, Kohima, were present during the signing of the MoU.
