Oct. 27, 2026: Kohima College, Kohima, and T.M. Government Higher Secondary School, Kohima, jointly launched the “Litter-Free Campus Initiative” on 27th October 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Campus Courtyard. This marked the first time the two institutions came together for a joint initiative promoting cleanliness and environmental responsibility.
The programme was led by Dr. Tenosenüo Angami, Associate Professor and Convenor, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Kohima College, Kohima. The concept note was presented by Shri Keilhikha Kenye, Principal, TM GHSS. The programme also featured a pledge and a short sharing and declaration on the Campus Litter-Free Initiative by Dr. Vitsosie Vüpru, Principal, Kohima College, who officially declared the campus litter-free. The vote of thanks was delivered by Er. Khriezosietuo Suohu, Vice Principal, TM GHSS.
