Aug 5-Sept 14, 2026: The PLV members of the Kohima College Legal Aid Clinic have been continuously facilitating the scholarship documentation process at Kohima College.
Active follow-up with students commenced on 5th August 2026, as students began approaching the Legal Aid Clinic and since then, the Clinic has been collecting documents, assisting with necessary verifications, facilitating submissions to the DC Office, and distributing Income Certificates to concerned students,an ongoing effort that continues to date.
The initiative was carried out under the guidance of Teachers-in-Charge, Assistant Professors Medoseno and Dr. Emisenla, Departments of Environmental Science & English respectively. Their supervision ensured students received proper assistance, making the process of obtaining Income Certificates easier, more organised, and accessible.
As the process nears completion, a total of 309 students have been assisted through this effort. Through these continuous efforts, the Clinic remains dedicated to easing administrative hurdles for students and upholding its mission of accessible legal student support and service.
