Sept 19, 2026: As part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan student volunteers of Kohima College Kohima, conducted a cleanliness drive in the students’ lavatory on 19th September 2026, with active participation of students from First Semester students and members of the Kohima College Students’ Council.
The cleanliness drive aimed to maintain a clean, hygienic, and healthy sanitation environment at the college campus and promote a sense of personal responsibility and collective ownership among students towards maintaining proper sanitation and hygiene.
Along with the students’ cleanliness drive, professional cleaners sanitised and deep-cleaned the faculty room as post-monsoon maintenance to ensure a hygienic and supportive environment for faculty and to address cleaning needs specific to the season.
